Abdelkader Dady DAOUDI 

Dady is a contemporary artist and calligrapher whose work combines contemporary art, calligraphy and vibrant landscapes.

As a self-taught artist, he has dedicated his time and energy to his field and artistic style, characterized by its colors, imagination and bold compositions.

He often uses paints or some different media (acrylic, ink, watercolors, collage, sand…) to create movement, depth and rhythm in his paintings, letters and words are an ingredient in his creations.

His main source of inspiration for his rich and varied themes comes from heritage and life (calligraphy, oases, the city and the horseman…).

Dady has won several prestigious international awards in contemporary calligraphy, including the Arts Award – Gold Medal for Arts (Kanz Al-Jeel Awards) Abu Dhabi, as well as the first prize in the style of Calligraffiti – Fujairah International Arabic Calligraphy Competition – Fujairah Emirate (United Arab Emirates), as well as several international awards and competitions of the International Festival of Arabic Calligraphy (Algeria), the Burda Award for Modern Calligraphy, and many others… Dady believes that art is the language through which we express what we feel and see (feelings, thoughts, impressions, personal experiences…) about life, heritage, and the environment around us, and convey them to society and other cultures in a creative and aesthetic way…

  • 2024 : the first place winner inthe Contemporary Arabic Calligraphy – Al Burda Award– Abu Dhabi , (UAE).
  • 2022 : the Arts Winner  The Gold Medal of Arts  ( Kenz Al Jeel ) Awards– Abu Dhabi , (UAE).
  • 2022: the first prize winner inCalligraphiti Style – FUJAIRAH INTERNATIONAL ARABIC CALLIGRAPHY COMPITETION – Fujairah, (UAE).
